How to Winterize Your Motorhome - Part 1

It’s that time of year when we prepare our homes and automobiles for the harsh winter conditions, but don’t forget your RV needs to be prepared for winter too!

One of the thing’s you’ll want to consider is protecting and double checking your plumbing system. You’ll want to make certain that the water in your tanks and pipes does not freeze and break fittings or lines.

Another thing you may want to consider to prepare your motorhome for winter is a dehumidifier!

Cold and wet can be bad for you and your motorhome. A buildup of heat and condensation can cause mold.

Also consider bringing extra space heaters on your winter travels. A major benefit of living or traveling in a motorhome is that there is less living space to heat!

Summer may be a popular time to travel, but winter-time travels have a magic that is uniquely their own. RVing in winter means you can enjoy all those winter outdoor activities: sitting around a campfire, cozying up with hot cocoa, and let’s not forget-snow!
