David and Emily Robertson

David and Emily Robertson opened the doors of Motorhomes of Texas in January of 2004. They have been married for 15 years and are the proud parents of Keith age 12 who is obsessed with soccer, Blake age 9 who loves football and baseball, and Madelyn age 2 who has the gift to lighten up the entire room with her beautiful smile.

David has been in the motorhome industry since 1994. He began his career at Foretravel in the Sales department where he was fortunate to meet many customers who have become like family over the years. After opening MOT, David has successfully transitioned all of his experience into a wonderful environment for all customers.

Upon opening MOT, Emily resigned from teaching and entered into the business world. For the last few years, Emily has worked beside David in creating a company who truly appreciates the family atmosphere and customer service they base the foundation of their business on.

Melanie Thornton - Director of Operations & Accounting

Melanie Thornton is our Director of Operations & Accounting. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Texas Arlington and is currently striving toward earning her license as a Certified Public Accountant. Melanie brings many years of public and private accounting experience to Motorhomes of Texas, as well as a broad base of knowledge in the financial and operational needs confronted by businesses on a daily basis. Melanie and her husband, Rick, an Investment Representative with Edward Jones Investments, have two young sons, a four-year-old named Gentry and a one-year-old named Grayson

Derek DiVerdi - Parts and Service Manager

Derek DiVerdi is our Service and Parts Manager. Derek is an extremely hard worker with 13 years experience in RV industry. He is always willing to go out of his way to make sure each costumer receives the best service possible. Derek enjoys spending time with his children, playing golf, basketball and softball.

Larry Hauk - General Sales Manager

Larry brings 27 years of experience as a sales manager in the RV industry. In 1975, he began in the RV business selling Country Coach, Beaver and Monaco Motorhomes, and in 1976, he became sales manager for a dealership in Northern California. Larry worked four years as sales manager for Guaranty RV which became the largest RV dealer in America at that time. In 2003, Larry went to work as a factory representative in Arizona for Country Coach and took a dealership from selling 30 coaches a year to selling 137 coaches a year! Then, in 2006, Larry moved to Texas as a factory rep and took his dealership from fourth in sales to second in sales for Country Coach!

Larry has been married for 27 years to Sharon and they have two children and are avid golfers. Sharon also has many years of experience in the RV industry. She began as a salesperson in 1986, and since then, she has worked as a finance manager and parts and service manager. She was also on the Guaranty Show Team and worked as a Country Coach Factory representative in Arizona and Texas before retiring from the manufacturer side of the business.

Ted Villarreal - Parts Manager

Issac Anderson - Service  

Issac brings six years of chassis experience to MOT. When he is not at work he enjoys playing sports with his two sons Braxton and Landon. You can also find Issac outside relaxing bow fishing, bass fishing, golfing and on Sundays playing shade tree mechanic.

Allan Anthony - Parts

After spending eight years at Foretravel in the parts department Allan brings MOT a vast knowledge of know-how. Allan has been married to Rebecca for six years and after his household duties are done Allan take pleasure in mud and dirt track racing, working on cars and trucks and especially customizing his 1968 Chevrolet pickup.

Jimmie Bergman - Sales

Jimmie was born and raised in Cypress, Texas. After high-school, Jimmie moved to Nacogdoches and attended Stephen F. Austin State University were he completed his Marketing/Management degrees. It was during a semester long marketing project that Jimmie became interested in Foretravel Motorcoach. After completion of the marketing project and several interviews, Jimmie was offered a position in the Foretravel sales department. In 2005, Jimmie joined the Motorhomes of Texas sales team. Jimmie and his wife Shannon have a two year old son Braden and are waiting for their second child in July. In Jimmie’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, working on his golf game, and hunting. 






 

Craig Dorsett  - Sales

Craig brings 19 years of experience from Foretravel and is wonderful addition to Motorhomes of Texas. Craig started out managing our lot, attending shows and coordination consignments and now has been moved to our Sales department.

Craig started on the night shift at Foretravel in 1989 installing generators, windows and compartment doors. He worked in final Checkout and Quality Control for a number of years, and in 2003, he moved to Sales and Marketing coordinating and setting up shows.

Craig was born and raised in Nacogdoches. He attended Angelina College and Stephen F. Austin State University, majoring in Business Management. His passion is his two nephews and his family, but he also enjoys country dancing, hunting and fishing.

 
Gay Lynn Gose - Receptions

Jason Haskins - Business Manager

Jason joined the Motorhomes of Texas family in March of 2007. He and his wife, Robyn, are 2003 graduates of Texas A&M University. Prior to joining Motorhomes of Texas Jason worked as a financial advisor with Fidelity Investments in Fort Worth. While not working Jason is an avid golfer and enjoys waterfowl hunting.

  
Shaun McGhiey - Parts

Shaun has ten years experience in the recreational market prior to working at MOT in parts he spent eight years at Foretravel in the parts and warranty departments. Shaun has been married to Susan for fifteen years and the have a lovely daughter Heather thirteen. When Shaun is not at MOT he has a mowing business and when he is not doing both he and his wife enjoy watching Heather play soccer and attending church.

Chris Pirtle - Service 

Chris has been married to Tina for six years and they have to lovely children Tanner and Kaila. Chris works in our remodel shop and when he is off work you can find him spending time with fish family and fishing.

Mike Rogers -  Tech Support

Mike Rodgers is originally from Lufkin, Texas, now living in Nacogdoches. He is married and has two children, ages 6 and 12. Mike was a top mechanic at Foretravel Service Center for 10 years. He is over our Tech Support Department and does an awesome job. He is always available to help our costumers, even if they need his assistance after hours. In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, watching football, going to his son’s soccer games and practices and hanging out with his friends, family and co-workers.

Chester Smith - Lot Manager

Chester has 23 years in the recreational market and after working in our service department Chester has taken on the task as our Lot Manager. Chester has been married to Kimberlee for 12 years and has 3 children and they all enjoy hunting, fishing and playing baseball, basketball and football.

Mike Weaver - Service

Mike brings twenty four years of RV technical knowledge to MOT and has been employed at MOT for one and half years. Once duties are finished at work Mike start home to his wife and two children were he enjoys hunting, fishing and dog training.

David Whitehead - Shop Foreman

David’s career began 15 years ago at the Foretravel factory. While he was there he gained knowledge in the shipping and costumer preferred upgrades. David has been able to apply this knowledge in his position as shop foreman at Motorhomes of Texas. He enjoys playing and watching various sports as well as hunting.

  
ReAnna Whitehead - Service

ReAnna is the Parts/Service/Warranty Office Administrator. She attended Panola Jr. College and Georgia Tech. ReAnna loves to cook and works in the catering business outside of her normal work hours. In her leisure time she likes shopping and playing basketball.

Seth Whitehead - Service 

Seth has worked at MOT for one and half years as a service technician and does a little bit of every thing one day he may be working on your heater system and the next on your satellite. When he is not at MOT you will be able to find him in a band playing multiple instruments such as the bass guitar, guitar and the piano and, as if that is not enough Seth loves to hunt fish and ride ATV’s.
